Responsibilities

The World Languages Center regularly seeks individuals who can teach Arabic, ASL, Chinese, French, German, Hebrew, Italian, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, or Spanish. Appointments are on a per term basis. Courses may encompass full range – from basic level (elementary/intermediate) to advanced skills courses (composition/conversation).

Qualifications

PhD and previous teaching experience at the university level is required for appointment at the Senior Lecturer level; Master’s degree and
previous teaching experience at the university level is required for appointment at the Lecturer level.

Additional Information

This is a part-time, non-tenure track, non-benefits eligible position. Positions are available contingent upon enrollment, funding and departmental needs. Stipend rates per course.
