The Northeastern University Department of Theatre is seeking a Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor in Lighting and Media Design for the 2017-18 academic year. This is a full-time, eight month appointment with benefits. This faculty member will teach courses in our BA/BS theatre program for majors, minors, and non-majors. S/he will design lighting and possibly projections for 2-4 department productions; provide leadership and technical expertise in related areas of theatre and technology; and mentor/supervise design and production students. This appointment carries the possibility of renewal.


M.F.A. and university teaching experience are required. Professionally active designers are preferred. Please submit a CV and cover letter by April 14, 2017.
