Responsibilities

The Department of Economics at Northeastern University invites applications for Visiting Lecturer positions for the 2017-2018 academic year. These are non-tenure-track, full-time, benefits-eligible positions. The role of a Lecturer is to provide excellence in teaching in Economics courses, primarily at the undergraduate level.

Qualifications

Candidates are required to hold a doctoral degree in Economics or a related field by the start date. All candidates are expected to provide evidence of excellence in teaching. While course needs are broad, candidates with expertise in undergraduate international food policy, global health and international aid, urban economics, and/or Master’s level Micro Theory are particularly encouraged to apply.
