Responsibilities

The Human Services Program of Northeastern University seeks to fill a position of Assistant or Associate Teaching Professor, beginning in January 2018 or Fall of 2018. We are seeking candidates with teaching and clinical experience in direct practice with individuals, families or groups. Candidates with an interest in leading global experiential education programs during the summer months are strongly encouraged to apply. Course load for this position is 5 classes per academic year.

Qualifications

PhD degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field is required at the time of appointment. Evidence of clinical licensure required. Evidence of effective teaching experience strongly preferred.

Additional Information

The Human Services Program resides in the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs within the College of Social Sciences and Humanities. The Human Services Program serves approximately 200 undergraduate majors. The major is academically rigorous and prepares students for careers in social change. Review of applications will start in September and the position will remain open until filled. Search committee members will be conducting informational meetings in October at CSWE.
