Bouvé College of Health Science’s nationally ranked, innovative and dynamic Physician Assistant Program enthusiastically encourages applications from highly motivated physicians and physician assistants for this Part-Time position. This is currently a non-benefits eligible, non-tenure track appointment in the Bouvé College of Health Sciences at the clinical instructor or assistant, associate or full clinical professor rank depending on education, qualifications, and experience. Primary responsibilities include leadership, teaching and participation in all aspects of curriculum development, implementation, and evaluation. The faculty member will engage in the education and mentorship of students throughout the didactic and clinical years.


Candidate must have a terminal degree (Doctorate preferred) in a field related to physician assistant practice. Physician candidates must be certified by an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) specialty board or by an American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved specialty board. Physician assistant candidates must be certified by the National Commission on Certification for Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and have an earned master’s degree in a field related to physician assistant practice, doctorate preferred. Physician or Physician Assistant candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Three years of clinical experience as a practicing clinician is preferred, and candidates must provide evidence of successful teaching.
