Responsibilities

Level is an exciting start-up business and learning unit within Northeastern University in Boston, MA created to build, test, and grow new professional learning programs focused on high-demand knowledge and skills, such as data analytics, Internet of Things (IoT), entrepreneurship, fintech, and cloud computing. We are looking for a Learning Director to work with us in Boston who brings not only knowledge and skills relevant to the position, but also an enthusiasm for an agile, collaborative, entrepreneurial work environment.
In collaboration with Level colleagues and instructors from industry, the Learning Director is responsible for improving and maintaining Level’s high-quality professional learning programs. As Learning Director, in all your work, you put Level learners first and advocate for, create, and support the best learner experiences. You will train and support our team of instructors to successfully meet the needs of learners and help learners all meet programmatic learning goals across three types of learning designs – online, blended, and face-to-face learning.
Additionally, you will be involved from the start with building and testing new programs and ways to support learners in developing and applying high-demand knowledge and skills. Being part of Northeastern University, you will also leverage Northeastern’s expertise in experiential learning and other educational resources.

Qualifications

• A master degree in education;
• 5+ years teaching experience (K-12 or adult);
• 2+ years of experience working in online, hybrid, and in-person teaching environments;
• Experience working in innovative learning environments and designing new learning products;
• Strong communication and organizational skills;
• Demonstrated experience as an innovative thinker/problem-solver, a collaborator; and entrepreneur.
• Experience leading teams and managing
