Responsibilities

The Corporate Learning practice at the D’Amore-McKim School of Business is looking for a Client Development Manager, focused on the consultative selling of corporate learning engagements and programs to U.S. based companies. This is an exciting opportunity to play a role in the continued rapid growth of Northeastern’s work in the corporate learning market. The Client Development Manager will cultivate non-degree program opportunities for both face-to-face, virtual and digital learning. The Client Development Manager will also take a lead role in the product development and the marketing of a menu of short and market-differentiated business workshops to fulfill corporate learning needs in mid-market companies.

Qualifications

• An individual with motivation for sales, positive energy, a drive to meet/exceed goals and a high level of professionalism.
• Previous experience with consultative sales. Sales of university-based programs or training products is preferred.
• Possess the ability to close business, manage projects independently, and design and write compelling proposals and collateral.
• Very strong interpersonal skills, and excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• This position may require travel and will require some evening and weekend work during events, conferences, etc.
• As position is largely external, access to transportation is required.
• A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years’ experience in business development, sales or marketing.
