As Assistant Director for the Biopharmaceutical Analysis Training Laboratory (BATL), which comprises the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Life Sciences Innovation Forum (LSIF) Regulatory Harmonization Steering Committee (RHSC) Center of Excellence in Biotherapeutics and the International Council for Harmonisation Quality 1 (ICH-Q1) Stability Center of Excellence at Northeastern’s Innovation Campus Burlington, MA, the incumbent will provide overall administrative management of the Training Laboratory with the goal of creating a rigorous yet supportive learning environment designed to foster regulatory convergence. This position will work with the Director of BATL to develop and provide quality programming with international reputation through responsible administrative practice, financial management, and business development. Direct responsibility for prospect and customer management, communication planning and execution, marketing, and website for BATL. Work independently to plan logistics for all incoming BATL activities, including training sessions, research presentations, or other events.


Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or communications. A background in the life sciences recommended. Minimum of seven years of business development, administrative, and supervisory experience required. Must have excellent written and verbal communications skills, cultural awareness, demonstrated analytical ability, and organizational skills in addition to proficient computer and database maintenance skills. Experience with maintenance of external-facing web for marketing purposes is a plus. Must have the ability to work independently and the ability to interact with professionalism and maintain confidentiality working with individuals throughout the organization.
