Estelle S. Kohn was the Deputy Director of the National Whistleblower Center and the Whistleblower Legal Defense Fund. Until her death in 2013, Ms. Kohn managed the Center’s highly successful student internship program, which annually provided invaluable training and experience in public interest law to more than fifty students. Her students provided legal help to hundreds of whistleblowers, including FBI crime lab whistleblower Dr. Frederic Whitehurst, UBS bank whistleblower Bradley Birkenfeld, the Army Corps of Engineers whistleblower Bunny Greenhouse, White House whistleblower Linda Tripp and numerous whistleblowers who exposed massive Swiss banking frauds. The Estelle S. Kohn Memorial Fellowship was established in memory of Estelle S. Kohn to continue the legacy of her work and spirit. It funds one Northeastern University law school graduate for a one-year fellowship position who will work at a designated employer specializing in legal issues in the area of Whistleblower Law.

Salary $50,000/year plus benefits and a moving stipend.
