The Graduate Career Center Administrative Coordinator will provide customer service for students, alumni, employers and staff and will provide information about programs, services and resources. This individual will oversee daily operations of the Graduate Career Center providing diversified support to assist in the effective and efficient operation of the center. Primary responsibilities include support of on-campus recruiting efforts, the executive luncheon program, mock interviews, networking events, career fairs, Career Track Advisory Board meetings and the Career Management classes. The Coordinator will provide administrative, fiscal and operational support for the Director and staff of the Graduate Career Center. The Coordinator will also be involved in data collection and synthesis, event management, presentation preparation and supply maintenance.

The Coordinator will also assume responsibility for planning and execution of employer, student and alumni events for the Graduate Career Center. Successful events depend on managing relationships with a variety of internal and external resources.


• Bachelors degree preferred; at least 2 years of college required.
• Database management skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong oral and written communication and ability to communicate with all level of staff and employers
• Well organized, good attention to detail
• Customer service skills, ability to work with diverse constituencies
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in fast-paced environment with shifting demands
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work independently, exercising judgment and initiative
• Possess grace under pressure
